Who we are

SS Vastralayam ("we", "us"), #17, 3rd Cross, A Narayanapura, Mahadevapura, Bengaluru – 560016, operates the SS Vastralayam mobile app and website. Contact: support@ssvastralayam.in, +91 96636 92229.

What we collect

• Account: mobile number and/or email address (used for one-time sign-in codes), name, optional gender and date of birth.
• Orders: delivery addresses, items purchased, order and return history, invoices.
• Payments: processed by Razorpay. We receive the payment status and method type (e.g. UPI, card); we never receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank credentials.
• Location (optional): only when you tap “Use my current location”, the app reads your phone’s location to fill in your delivery PIN code, city and area. The location itself is processed on your phone and is not stored or shared by us — only the PIN code or address you choose to save.
• App usage: products viewed, searches, wishlist and bag contents, and basic diagnostics (app version) to improve the service.
• Support: messages and photos you send with support or return requests.

How we use it

To create and secure your account, process and deliver orders, handle returns and refunds, provide support, prevent fraud, meet tax and legal obligations, and — only if you opt in — send offers.

Who we share it with

• Payment processor (Razorpay) to complete payments and refunds.
• Courier and logistics partners to deliver and pick up orders (name, phone, address).
• SMS/email providers to send sign-in codes.
• Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, addresses, wishlist and bag are erased; order and invoice records are retained for the period required by Indian tax law, without being linked to an active account.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Sign-in codes are single-use and stored only as hashes. Access to customer data is restricted to authorised staff and logged.

Your rights

You can view and edit your profile and addresses in the app, choose your notification preferences, and delete your account at any time. For any other request under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, write to support@ssvastralayam.in.

Children

The app is intended for users aged 18 and above. Purchases for children should be made by a parent or guardian.
